It's fall and soon many children will be celebrating the American holiday of Halloween. The best part of Halloween, besides dressing up in costumes, is going Trick or Treating
For the next two weeks we will be exploring Halloween through the use of technology, making, coding, and engineering.

Today you will use Nearpod to practice your math skills: perimeter, area, place value, base ten, multiplication, polygons, & multi-step word problems. To get started, click on the Nearpod icon on the desktop and enter the code on the card on the bottom right of your computer.

Today you will be challenged to strategize the best route around the neighborhood map to collect as much candy as you can. You will use direction and speed codes to pass navigate Ozobot passed the houses. Luck and skill are all at play in this trick-or-treat adventure.
The night is dark and stormy, and you may not be able to control exactly where Ozobot goes (Remember: Ozobot makes random decisions at intersections when it doesn’t receive a direction code).

New Vocabulary:
iteration, in the context of computer programming, it is a process wherein a set of instructions or structures are repeated in a sequence a specified number of times or until a condition is met. When the first set of instructions is executed again, it is called an iteration.
