Video Game Designers Wanted !
An independent video game company has hired our video game studio to create a new and exciting game. This game will be designed strictly for mobile devices and will be a (visually) linear game, such as the original hits: Donkey Kong, Super Mario Brothers, and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Your team will be creating the story, characters, visuals, and levels that make video games fun and exciting. The areas your team will be focusing on are the same ones that make developers and companies spend millions of dollars creating and designing.

We are finally up to the last phase in the Design Thinking Process - Testing. For today's task you will finalize your video games by assembling all the different elements that we have been working on over the last few weeks: layout, background, hero, enemies, and story blocks. This is your last chance to make any changes or improvements before testing.
You will then connect your room (level) to your team's rooms (levels) to create one game with four rooms (levels).

Design Thinking-Stage 5: TestA playtest is the process by which a game designer tests a new game for bugs and design flaws before bringing it to market. Playtests can be run "open", "closed", "beta", or otherwise, and are very common with computer games, board games and role-playing games.

Playtesters Wanted!
Playtesting is a key part of the game design process - both for your own observations and for gathering user feedback. Your team's game will be tested by your peers and your teachers. Playtesters will use the following Google Form to test your video games and provide you with feedback to make improvements.
Video Game Design Rubric
I will be using the rubric below to evaluate your video game. After this your team's game will be uploaded to the Bloxels Edu Arcade for ALL to enjoy and play.
I'm so proud of all the hard work you put into this project and I can't wait to share your innovative video games with the WORLD!
